Job Description:

Extraco Banks is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. This accounting professional will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Responsibilities:
Maintain the Accounts Payable Files
Review and Code all invoices, expense reports and check requests
Enter all approved bills onto the Accounts Payable system
Balance daily check runs and process for payment by check or ACH
Audit daily check runs for accuracy and Image all documents
Record sales tax to be paid by Extraco
Maintain accurate information for year end 1099 filing for all vendors
Follow established guidelines to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems, referring non-routine matters to supervisor

Specialized Skills:
Detail oriented
Highly organized
Good numbers logic

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
3+ years Accounts Payable experience or other similar Accounting experience
Excellent Oral and written communications skills
