Requirements

? 5+ years of experience in web/software development or consulting.

? Ability to design visually appealing, efficient, and useable user interfaces and user experiences.

? Ability to create wireframes and mock-ups, as well as generate image assets for use in the applications. Photoshop skills required.

? A solid understanding of web application architecture, object-oriented software, and design patterns (MV*).

? Experience with mobile web application interface design and development.

? Highly skilled at front-end engineering using object-oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Backbone, Marionette, Bootstrap), HTML and CSS.

? Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for user interface components.

? Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with the customer and report project status to an internal and customer audience.

? Excellent problem solving skills.

? Self-starter that works well in an Agile team setting.

? Experience developing and building ?hybrid? (Phonegap) and/or native mobile applications for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone a definite plus.

As a Front-End Web Application Developer (UX/UI) you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface, user experience, and front-end code for large-scale web applications for desktop, mobile, and tablets. You will be required to collaborate with customers, create visually appealing interfaces based on requirements and existing customer branding guidelines, and implement solid front-end code using web standard languages such as HTML5, CSS3, & JavaScript. Responsibilities ? Work with customer to clearly define the solution requirements and ensure that the design and implementation will meet the business needs of the customer. ? Ensure detailed documentation of functional and technical specifications of the proposed solution. ? Help define the user experience and user interface, and create wireframes and mock-ups based on existing solution architecture, customer guidelines, and use-cases. ? Develop rich web applications with responsive UI for use across desktop and mobile browsers such as Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox based on design and functional requirements. ? Identify and communicate best practices for front-end engineering.
