- Direct, manage, plan, and administrate a DevOps AWS team.
- Design and implement complex automation scripts in Bash, Groovy
(Jenkins), and Python to support application processes for cloud
deployments.
- Support in-house applications and third-party tools, such as
Terraform, Kafka, Qualys, GitHub, and Hashicorp Vault.
- Maintain reliability and stability of the AWS instances in the
cloud using Configuration as Code (CaC), CLI (Command Line
Interface), and Linux.
- Translate middle and senior management directives into workable
policies.
- Monitor project status and take remedial action on projects
behind schedule and/or over budget.
- Design, develop, and implement web, core, microservices, and
APIs using Java and different frameworks, such as Spring Boot,
Hibernate, and Model View Controller, and development tools, such
as Eclipse, IntelliJ, and Visual Studio Code, for on-premises and
cloud applications.
- Run the incident and problem management process for
non-production environments.
- Resolve complex support issues in non-production
environments.
- Have an understanding of Cloud Native applications running on
Kubernetes within AWS.
- Assist production support and development staff in debugging
environment defects.
- Create procedural and troubleshooting documentation related to
cloud native applications.
- Oversee the work of 3 DevOps Engineers.
- Up to 40% telecommuting permitted.Education & Experience
Required:Bachelor's degree in CS, computer engineering, or related
field and seven (7) years of experience as a DevOps Lead, Java
Developer, or related.Special Skills Required:
