Job Description:

IT Systems Analyst - (Dallas, TX)DeGolyer and MacNaughton (D&M) is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to perform duties related to the analysis, development, maintenance and administration of computer systems infrastructure to meet business needs. D&M provides innovative services for our clients that leverage both Cloud and On-Premise technology. The candidate will be part of the IT Operations team and may perform duties within one or more of the following operational areas: Server, Network, Cybersecurity, Backup/Restore, Storage, Software Distribution, Licensing and User Support. Ensure delivery of operational and service excellence across the D&M IT infrastructure services.ResponsibilitiesWork with the IT Team to ensure the IT systems run smoothly across the D&M hybrid on-premise and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.Provide system administration across the IT infrastructure (servers, networks, etc) with special focus on Backup, Restore and Archiving.Diagnose and resolve issues reported by the global user base.Ensure the security, reliability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure.Continuously improve the IT services both through the enhancement of existing solutions and design/implementation of new solutions.Install and configure hardware, software, networks, SQL servers and applications.Engage with vendors and manage software licenses.Keep up with emerging technologies and implement them in the organization.CapabilitiesKnowledge of Microsoft on premise and Azure cloud solutions.Support experience in two or more disciplines (servers, storage, virtualization, applications, SQL, user support, desktops, security and networking).Knowledge of IBM Storage Protect for backup, restore and archiving is a plus.Experience with IT procurement and license management is a plus.Avid learner and passion for applying technologies to innovate and drive business value.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.Good communication and presentation skills.Strong collaboration skills.Copes well with workload pressure and deadlines.Experience working as part of a global organization.Job RequirementsDegree in Computer Science or related degree.3+ years of working experience in IT infrastructure system administration.Experience in the Energy Exploration & Production industry is a plus.U.S. work authorization required.Occasional off hours/weekend work.Multi-lingual speaker is a plus.Dallas, Texas based role (Hybrid).DeGolyer and MacNaughton offers highly competitive benefits and compensation.Next Steps:If interested and qualified, submit resume with cover letter.
